Minimum Qualifications--- Security Clearance - A current U.SGovernment security clearance is not required for the first day, but will be processed for a Secret level and therefore must be a U.SCitizen.--- At least 5 years of experience in Software Engineering, Modern Java Frameworks and Libraries (e.gSpring, Guava) and a Bachelors in related field; 3 years relevant experience with Masters in related field; or High School Diploma or equivalent and 9 years relevant experience.
* Experience in designing enterprise APIs
* Experience in RESTful web services
* Experience in Microservices architecture
* Experience in Object Oriented Programming (OOP) paradigms
* Experience with the agile software lifecycle
* Has a proven ability to learn quickly and works well both independently as well as in a team setting
* Experience with the Linux operating system
* Experience with configuration management tools (e.gGit, Nexus, Maven)
* Must be able to work a hybrid schedule
Preferred Requirements--- DoD 8140 / 8570 compliance certifications may be required in this position as directed by the customer.
* A current Secret level security clearance is a big plus.
* Experience in cloud based technologies (AWS, Azure)
* Experience in distributed databases, NoSQL databases, full text-search engines (e.gElasticsearch, MongoDB, Solr)--- Scripting experience is a huge plus.
* Prior experience or familiarity with our Big Data Platform is a plus.
* Understanding of AGILE software development methodologies and use of standard software development tool suites(e.g., JIRA, Confluence, Github Enterprise, etc.)
