Job Description:

Position Summary The core purpose of this position is to assist in managing and leading the Denny's Technical Call Center to an effective and efficient standard. This role is responsible for supporting, mentoring, and training Technical Call Center Associates and Call Center Analysts. The Technical Call Center Lead Associate will provide an environment where team members can expand and contribute their knowledge and further develop their skill base, while meeting or exceeding goals and objectives. This includes regular and timely one on one coaching and feedback sessions, training. Supervisory Requirements: This position reports to the Call Center Technical Supervisor. Exemption from Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA). Non-exempt Essential Functions (Duties and Responsibilities): Leads day-to-day operations of the Call Center. Assist in identifying, designing, and creating necessary training materials for inbound Call Center Associates. Resolves or assists technical call center representatives in solving, non-routine and/or complex software, hardware, network system, and networking and procedure problems. Assist with escalation procedures and ensures service levels are consistently met or exceeded. Analyzes help desk activity and makes recommendations for changes in procedures and systems to senior leadership. Follow-up with restaurants on a consistent basis and provide managers and franchise representatives with detailed information and/or solutions. Provide relative and accurate feedback to inbound associates in regard to technical problems and general questions. Other Duties: Participation in departmental projects. Ad hoc requests for data and analysis. Accept and complete reasonable tasks and projects within the scope of the Technical Call Center Associate role. Minimum Qualifications: Strong ability to define expectations, coach, train, motivate, and guide team members. Excellent interpersonal experience in customer service/support or similar environment including excellent customer service skills. Demonstrated problem solving and analytical skills. Adaptable and flexible with the ability to accept, create and manage change. Must adhere to a flexible work schedule to include weekends, evenings, holidays and rotating on-call schedule. Must have the ability to listen to internal and external customers and communicate extremely complex and technical information clearly and concisely, sometimes to a non-technical audience. Ability to successfully communicate ideas and recommendations to all levels within the department, using tact, common courtesy, persuasion, and discretion to achieve objectives. Ability to work well under pressure, stressful situations and to meet and exceed deadlines and expectations. Ability to effectively and efficiently manage multiple tasks using prioritization techniques. Provide the highest level of customer support to internal and external customers. Must be self-motivated, goal driven and eager to take on new and challenging responsibilities. Ability to demonstrate leadership capabilities and potential Knowledge and Skills: Strong ability to define expectations, coach, train, motivate, and guide team members.
