and fosters a family oriented culture. Position Overview Primary
responsibility includes driving commercial motor vehicles, short
and long distances, to deliver a variety of products to customers
while maintaining compliance with all Company safety policies and
state and federal transportation regulations. What You’ll Do ·
Responsible for operating a CMV single unit and/or truck-trailer
combination to transport and deliver product, over intercity routes
and/or across state lines · Load and unload the vehicle, ensuring
that all products are properly secured · Inspect vehicles for
mechanical items and safety issues and perform daily pre-trip and
post-trip inspections and report any issues to management ·
Maintain records required for compliance with state and federal
regulations, including but not limited to DOT hours of service,
E-logs, rest breaks and any other record required by law ·
Responsible for following safety policies and procedures, including
PPE requirements · Operate forklift or non-motorized equipment to
load and/or off load product to designated area(s) · Maintain
communication during deliveries to ensure any updated instructions
are received · Maintain paperwork and documentation of deliveries
and pickups · Stay in compliance with annual training requirements
· Maintain an active CDL license, medical card and driving history
that meets insurance standards · Follow all traffic laws and report
all violations and incidents Mental & Physical Requirements: ·
Ability to perform simple mathematical calculations and ability to
handle paperwork, follow instruction, read road signs, maintain
logs etc · Ability to apply knowledge of commercial driving and
skills in maneuvering vehicle at varying speeds in difficult
situation, such as heavy traffic, inclement weather or in tight
spaces · Position requires the ability to lift, push or pull up to
100lbs on a regular basis and up to 150lbs on occasion · Able to
bend over to pick up product, occasion squatting and climbing ·
Requires the ability to physically operate equipment according to
the manufacture specifications and the Company’s safety policies
Working Environment & Conditions: · This position requires working
in an external environment and requires 8 hours a day of standing,
sitting, climbing, kneeling, stooping Education, Experience &
Training: · High School diploma/GED · A minimum of 2 years of
commercial trucking · Must meet insurance standards Benefits ·
