Job Description:
Nesco Resource is now hiring for a Spray Booth Technician in the
Spartanburg area. The Spray Booth Technician is responsible for
preparing, operating, and maintaining spray booth equipment to
apply paints, gelcoats, and coatings to automotive parts and
surfaces. Key Responsibilities: Prepare the spray booth and all
equipment for use, including adjusting settings such as
temperature, airflow, and ventilation to ensure proper operation.
Mix gelcoats, clear coats, and paints to the correct ratios
according to the SDS and manufacturer instructions. Handle all
materials, solvents, and accelerants in accordance with SDS
guidelines. Apply paint, gelcoats, clear coats, and a variety of
gloss materials using various spray guns and techniques, ensuring
the finished product meets specifications. Operate automated paint
systems after receiving applicable training and ensure they are
functioning as required. Clean and maintain spray guns, hoses, and
all related spray equipment. Adhere to all safety protocols,
including the use of proper PPE and maintenance of exhaust systems.
Inspect all work and surfaces for defects and apply necessary
corrective measures. Use both digital and manual thickness gauges
to ensure adequate coverage. Pay: $17.50/hour Shift: 6am-2:30pm
