What you'll do:

In this role, you will contribute to the success of PepsiCo by supervising the day-to-day warehouse operations, with a focus on cost efficiency, continuous improvement on processes, service, and safety across one shift.

This schedule for this role is night shift, beginning around 1:30 pm. This individual would work Tuesday through Saturday.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Manage the receiving and delivery of products in a timely manner
  • Ensure optimal inventory levels are maintained in order to fulfil daily sales needs; count floor and truck inventories as needed
  • Develop and motivate your team to solve day-to-day operational issues and reach short- and long-term performance goals
  • Communicate and collaborate cross-functionally
  • Build people capability through effective employee relations, hiring, training, and communication for frontline hourly personnel
  • You will have a regular presence on the plant floor and occasionally lift up to 40 lbs
  • This role may operate forklift and manufacturing equipment occasionally
  • You may require off-shift and weekend work with some travel (less than 5%)
  • Manage NIS (National Inventory System) to reflect on-hand inventories and BOLs both inbound and outbound
  • Manage WMS (Warehouse Management System) to reflect on-hand inventories and BOLs both inbound and outbound
  • Count and enter PQI reports weekly or as needed
  • Maintain a safe and orderly storage arrangement for all items handled
  • Ensure adherence to audit standards

Qualifications/Requirements

  • 18 years or older
  • Must be able to pass Forklift Driving Skills test
  • Able to work all hours needed including weekends

Helpful Experience:

  • Counting inventory (e.g., tracking in-bound/out-bound inventory using basic mathematical calculations such as addition, subtraction, multiplication and division, etc.)
  • Controlling inventory (e.g., counting the level of inventory on the shop floor or locating or tracking products in the warehouse)
  • Process control and documentation (e.g., checking/certifying product, following process controls, meeting quality standards with tight deadlines, etc.)
  • Leading a team
