Job Description Ambassador Is currently recruiting for an
Extrusion Operator in the Spartanburg area.
Responsibilities: Maintains a clean and orderly work
Maintains a safe working environment by following all company
safety policies and procedures and reports unsafe conditions and
Set up, operation and shut down of the blown film extrusion line: o
Verify resins and additives are correct per work order. o Ensure
barrel and die temperatures are correct. o Set screw and nip roll
speeds to maintain proper film size and gauge. o Control of bubble
cage, nip reduction cage and air ring. o Change out of extruder
screen pack and cleaning of resin mixer filters.
Set up, operation and shut down of all down line film converting
equipment: o Corona surface treater. o Flexo graphic print station.
o Bag machine o Rewind o Folder Maintain extruded film product to
required gauge, length, width, seal strength, film color and print
Transfers data to the daily production log, quality control
documents or forms used in the production process.
Follow the production schedule and other related documents
necessary to produce and meet customer orders including those with
Communicate line malfunctions in a timely manner to ensure
production downtime is kept to a minimal.
Other duties as assigned
Requirements: Ability to lift 35lbs. or more consistently.
Frequently required to stand; walk; sit; handle or feel and reach
with hands and arms. The employee is occasionally required to climb
or balance and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.
Must be willing and able to work on a 12-hour A or B shift
Basic math skills to complete the calculation and measurement of

hand tools, such as wrenches, scrapers, die gauges, screwdrivers,
tape measures, micrometers, etc.
Be able to visually inspect the product for defects.
