Financial Team MemberInsurance Compliance Administrator and Accounting ClerkMark III Properties, LLC---OverviewMark III Properties, a residential land developer, seeks a new Financial Team Member whose first priority would be managing insurance compliance for the dozens of subcontractors who perform work on our 100+/- projects throughout the upstate. The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years' experience with worker's comp and/or liability insurance compliance. The position could be part time and mostly limited to insurance compliance, or with additional accounting, administrative or human resources experience could be a full -time position. -Skills

  • Organized, reliable, and detail-oriented
  • Proficient user of Microsoft Office products (Outlook, Excel, Word) and a proven track record learning new software
  • Working knowledge of worker's compensation and general liability insurance terminology
  • Ability to work well within a team and willingness to assist when needed with tasks that may not be specifically outlined in job description -Responsibilities - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -Insurance Compliance
    • Ensure that subcontractors have signed the master subcontractor agreement (annually) and provided all necessary insurance documents
    • Interface with Mark III's insurance tracking service in the review of insurance documents
    • Consult with Mark III's insurance broker as needed to resolve questions about and issues with subcontractors' insurance coverage
    • Work with project managers on subcontractors' work orders for individual projects
    • Assist the controller and staff accountant with other types of document management - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -Other Administrative Duties
      • Answer phones, run errands, file
      • Assist with accounts payable and invoicing
      • Prepare reports and track inventoryThis position is an in-house position. If part time work, 8am -1pm daily would be preferable hours but flexible. Starting pay in the range of $25-$30/ hour depending on experience and level of responsibilities. -
