UKG Scheduling Administrator
Summary
The UKG Dimensions Scheduling Administrator collaborates in a team
environment and independently with healthcare system leaders,
vendors, HR/Payroll, and technology teams to support advanced
scheduling within the UKG Dimensions platform. This hands-on role
collaborates with stakeholders to assess and create solutions to
scheduling configuration requests while maintaining consistency,
maintains schedule set up, and is responsible for system
administration tasks to include user support, new user setup,
configuration changes such as the addition of job or a location
change, troubleshooting, system updates, and table maintenance.
Creates and maintains administrative and end-user documentation and
training. Assists in knowledge transfer to stakeholders and team
members.
Responsibilities
- Setup and maintenance of Advance Scheduling access to include
the creation of appropriate access groups.
- Create, build, maintain, support, and troubleshoot all
necessary technical infrastructure related to UKG Advanced
Scheduler
- Perform Advanced Scheduler support, configuration, and project
work as needed across the system
- Resolve incidents and develop enhancements in accordance with
the client's policy and procedure, regulatory requirements, and
best practice standards
- Defines and adheres to appropriate service level agreements for
job-related tasks
- Assists users with scheduling configuration, providing ongoing
support
- Provide onsite at-the-elbow support during go-live sessions to
assist with scheduling configuration and general system
knowledge
- Support managers by providing "how-to" or advanced Q&A
support, helping build out schedules and troubleshooting
- Responsible for second-level build and maintenance as well as
tool optimization
- Creation and maintenance of requested reporting
- Leads planning, discovery, construction, validation,
implementation, and cutover activities for all future Advanced
Scheduling upgrades and rollouts
- Maintain lookup tables associated with interfaces
- Provide training to end users
- Other duties as assigned Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Information
Technology, or related field; or equivalent combination of
education/work experience/certifications.
- 3-5 years of scheduling or timekeeping system
administration/application experience
- Demonstrated application of critical thinking and analytical
skills to drive processes and solutions
- Self-starter capable of managing multiple tasks at the same
time while producing high quality results
- Strong technical proficiency required, including Microsoft
Office products
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to analyze data and system concerns by applying
analytical skills and efficiently communicate findings and design
solutions using Excel, Smartsheet, or other tools
- Experience collaborating with internal and external customers
to achieve business objectives utilizing project management skills
and principles Preferred Experience
- Operational knowledge of healthcare areas such as nursing,
perioperative services, emergency center, and support services is
preferred.
- Experience with Lawson/Infor HRIS system
- UKG Dimensions Scheduling experience
