Primary Purpose of this Job
The primary purpose of this job is to develop and maintain standard
routings within the manufacturing system.
Essential Functions (other duties may be assigned)
Develop and maintain standard routings within our manufacturing
systems. Support item updates, specification, Logging, and other
central quality and item related functions.
Perform a variety of posting, filing, and data accumulation
functions towards the preparation and issuance of manufacturing
mill order travelers and materials certification.
Follow other projects and studies as requested. Make measurements,
make observations, and record data as necessary. Make
recommendations for improvement to the process to increase
efficiency and reduce errors.
Detect and report unusual conditions, improper operations, and
personal mistakes for the purpose of rectifying these deviant
situations. Follow prescribed safety regulations. Perform these and
other duties as assigned or as indicated by responsibilities.
Initiate mill order travelers, indicating operational sequences,
inspections, certifications and other pertinent data including
starting billet weight and size if applicable. Proofread travelers
to insure conformance to customer specifications and internal
requirements.
Minimum Job Requirements: (Equivalent combinations of education,
licenses, certifications and/or experience may be considered)
Education Required
High School Diploma or Equivalent
Experience Required
Minimum of 2 years of experience with ATI is preferred.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities typically required to perform the
essential functions of this job.
Knowledge of:
Proficient in Microsoft Office tools (Word, Excel, and Power Point
at a minimum) required to accomplish day-to-day work activities and
willingness to learn additional programs.
Basic knowledge of company products, processes, product
specifications and operations.
ERP Software (Oracle experience a plus)
Working knowledge of ATI's customer quality assurance procedures
and documents is preferred.
Skilled in:
Analytical & critical thinking as well as problem-solving
capabilities.
Effective interpersonal & communication skills (written and
verbal)
Attention to detail, organization, time management and
prioritization skills.
Ability to:
Perform basic math & algebraic problems
Successfully balance multiple tasks in a fast-paced, competitive
environment.
Ability to work independently as well as with and through others to
achieved desired results.
Ability to analyze and resolve difficult problems effectively and
timely thru the implementation of long-term solutions.
