**Description** The Fall 2017 HRD Leadership Development International Intern role is to ensure the consistency of the BMW brand in Training and Development at the plant; to maintain positive relationships with associates, managers, leaders and community partners; and to be strategic partners in leading change, generating creative solutions, and managing the complexities of Training and Development Americas within the BMW Group. Position provides project and program support for BMW Leadership and Professional Development (LPD) training programs, pilots, processes, and initiatives. Under the direction of the LPD Manager, duties span from administrative support, event coordination, project management, materials design/development, research/analysis, needs assessment, facilitation, and evaluation/reporting. Working with the LPD Manager and other LPD professionals, the position will interface with a variety of training programs (including leadership/management, computer systems, e-learning and professional development). This position will get exposure to the full training lifecycle (analysis, design, development, implementation and evaluation). In addition, this position will be required to support a variety of individual and cross-functional projects under the supervision of the LPD Manager. The Fall 2017 HRD Leadership Development International Intern is expected to have excellent analytical skills and strategic thinker, and extensive experience in the fields of Automotive Body Shop. Reading and writing proficient in English. Programs/Operational Support - Monitor and manage class enrollments, advertise classes if necessary, apply cancellation policy - Schedule training facilities, deliver all course communications and pre-work instructions to participants a minimum of 2 weeks prior to class date, handle all participant correspondence - Ensure proper program set-up and break down for day of class - Maintain inventory of supplies and materials (course materials, room supplies) - Send course evaluations within 24 hours of class completion Projects - Maintain project plan and task lists with accurate dates and descriptions for various individual and (cross functional) team projects - Complete project tasks by the assigned deadline - Attend project meetings and compile notes and action items - Create presentations and communication documents using Corporate Identity standards - Other duties as required BMW Manufacturing Company is an EEO/affirmative action employer; all qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to age, race, color, religion, sex, national origin, disability, or protected veteran status. **Qualifications and experience** Successfully completed an internship/working student assignment within the BMW group (3 month period minimum) Be currently enrolled in a University study program outside of the US Completed intermediate diploma/pre-degree Must provide the following paperwork in English Cover letter Curriculum Vitae Last University performance record Relevant references and certificates BMW Manufacturing Company is an EEO/affirmative action employer, all qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to age, race, color, religion, sex, gender identity, national origin, disability or protected veteran status **Legal Entity:** BMW Manufacturing Co., LLC **Location:** Spartanburg **Job ID:** 1900019S
