Job Description: General Purpose of Job: To ensure each machine is built to customers design specifications in a timely and efficient manner with a focus on electrical aspects of the machine manufacturing process. Job Duties Include: * Build/wire electrical components and panels * Build electrical subassemblies for machine builds * Kitting of individual parts and subassemblies for machine builds * Submission of paperwork for ERP system entry * Quality check on electrical assemblies of completed machines * Install programs and debug any issues * Monitor inventory levels in electrical department to ensure proper inventory and workflow * Install in shop machine upgrades * Cross training with Mechanical Department for machine familiarity * Ensure self and department employees stay on time and on task while maintaining a clean work environment Specific Requirements: Candidate must demonstrate excellent organizational and time management skills along with the ability to communicate and problem solve with fellow Steeger team members. Candidate should have a basic understanding of electrical wiring, good troubleshooting skills, and innovative workflow solutions. Physical demands require lifting up to 50 pounds and standing for long periods of time. Must maintain a clean and organized workspace.
