Position manages drivers' schedules, routes and equipment to ensure the safe and efficient movement of freight. Candidates with professional communication, computer and presentation skills are strongly encouraged to apply!

High School Diploma or GED required, associate or bachelor's degree in business, logistics, or a related field preferred

Strong interpersonal and communications skills, both written and oral

Able to manage multiple tasks, projects, problem-solve at a high level in a fast-paced environment

Excellent computer and language skills including ability to read and interpret documents as well as write routine reports and correspondence and to communicate effectively using the telephone.

Add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs.

Solve practical problems dealing with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists

Interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.

Duties and responsibilities include:

Monitoring and managing assigned carriers, equipment and drivers to implement customer plans, routes, pickup and delivery schedules and on-demand solutions.

Working with customers, vendors, management and drivers to solve any issues that arise throughout shift.

Efficient and timely entry of all company and customer related data into the company transportation software and/or related software.

Ensuring proper chain of communication to and from co-workers, carriers, customers, shippers, as well as supervisor or manager as needed.

Reporting all accident and incidents related to driver injuries, equipment, cargo and property damage, and driver safety concerns.
