Georgia-Pacific is now hiring a Shipping Coordinator for our packaging facility located in Spartanburg, SC. The Shipping Coordinator is responsible for coordinating the day-to-day activities in the shipping and receiving offices, including providing customer service to the truck drivers. You must be able to work an evening schedule Monday through Friday to support the Shipping Supervisor.

  What You Will Do In Your Role
  
  
  • Provide customer service to the truck drivers, providing them with the appropriate paperwork and instructing them on where to park their trailers
  • Accurately process shipping paperwork
  • Dispatch work to the forklift drivers on the warehouse floor
  • Managing the workload of incoming and outgoing freight
  • Perform daily proof of billing
  • Unconfirmed Trips for Branch
  • Review and rectify TSS Alerts
  • Review and rectify missed scans
  • Printing of P/L for loaders
  • Establish ready times for KBX
  • Assist loaders with questions
  • Coordinate with customers for dock times and update shipping schedule
  • Manage and Correct Unconfirm Trips for BranchThe Experience You Will Bring
    Requirements:
    
    
    • Experience using Microsoft Excel, Word and Outlook
    • Willing and able to work overtime, weekends and holidays What Will Put You Ahead
      
      
      • Experience in warehousing, transportation, or planning
      • One or more years of office/clerical experience
      • Experience with Kiwi operating system
