Join Our Colonial Family! The Inside Sales Representative is
responsible for managing the COI Terminal Division's house accounts
and for providing sales support to customers, terminal managers,
and other COI Terminal Division departments. This employee pursues
share-of-wallet opportunities with existing accounts while striving
to increase efficiencies and profitability. The Inside Sales Rep
has a thorough understanding of all COI customer needs and markets
and can speak with authority on all services. They are proficient
in the duties of a CSR I and a CSR II and will perform those duties
regularly as the business requires. JOB EXPECTATIONS/DUTIES Manage
COI Terminal Division's House accounts and field pricing, invoice,
delivery inquiries for these customers. Generate and supply
additional leads and opportunities to the external sales
representatives. Communicate directly with customers, suppliers,
and carriers via telephone, email, and in-person. Follow up on all
customer interactions and inquiries in a timely manner. Organize
workflow and multi-task if needed to meet the customers' needs and
timeframes. Communicate and coordinate with multiple internal
departments (i.e. Sales, Operations, Procurement). Train and equip
new CSRs. Run sales reports as requested by internal or external
customers. File Business Development Allowance/Fund claims with
lubricant suppliers. Navigate PDI Enterprise (ERP), SkyBitz
SmartLogix (Dispatch & Delivery), Cardlock Sites, and Microsoft
Dynamics (CRM) with ease to assist with customer inquiries. Support
COI Terminal Division by assisting with pricing, price letters,
request for quotations, and delivery schedule proposals.
Proactively analyze lower volume deliveries and asset allocation
across the company and propose modified behavior to maximize
delivery efficiency while increasing customer satisfaction. Quote
and process new call-in and walk-in business through CRM
Lead-Opportunity or as counter-sale. Conduct customer follow-ups
after service work to ensure customer satisfaction and retention.
Assist CSR I's and CSR II's in their duties, which include but are
not limited to: Receive and process incoming orders from customers
and sales representatives. Set up and manage new customers and
their locations in PDI enterprise and Cardlock sites while
accurately recording contact information and notes for future
deliveries. Set up new tanks in CRM and research location
discrepancies as needed. Provide customers with access to the
Customer Portal as needed. Set up and manage customer pricing and
daily cost imports. File allowances/supplementals on select
warehouse orders. Invoice completed orders in a timely manner.
Manage invoice inquiries and credit/rebill customers as needed.
File state tax diversions. Create and process work orders for
customer service work as requested by internal or external
customers. Other assignments as needed. QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTS
Bachelor's degree in business administration or a related field
preferred. Minimum of 1-2 years of successful inside sales or sales
support experience; in a fuel, lubricant, or transportation
industry preferred. Proficient in Microsoft Office suite of
software. Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively at all
levels of the organization. Proven ability to successfully follow
up on multiple projects at a time and achieve goals in a
continuously changing work environment. Ability to develop new
customer relationships and sustain existing relationships. Ability
to demonstrate excellent judgement through effective and creative
problem solving under pressure. Must be able to exude an upbeat and
positive attitude while being assertive and professional in all
verbal and written communication. Excellent interpersonal skills,
effective communication skills, and customer relationship
