Job Description Job Description Residential Part-Time Who Are We: InReach provides a wide variety of supports and services across the lifespan for individuals with intellectual/developmental disabilities and their families. We focus on each individual's unique needs and deliver the highest quality services possible by ensuring that each individual receives the right support, at the right time and frequency by a caring qualified staff member in the most independent setting appropriate. What we need: Friendly and caring people who work with adults with Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities (I/DD) living in a residential home setting in Charlotte, NC. This position requires proficient American Sign Language (ASL) experience. What You'll Do: Training and assisting with preparing the evening meal. Assisting with evening chores. Provide community recreational activities when available. Assisting people with evening personal care/hygiene. Documentation of activities. Dispensing medication and monitoring dosages. Must be willing to drive a full-size passenger van. Qualifications: Strong verbal skills Willingness to help others At least 6 months of previous experience (paid or volunteer) working with the I/DD population or experience relevant to the role; must be verifiable. A valid Driver's license A High School Diploma Job Type: Part-time Hours: 20-25 hours per week Rate: $16.00 per hour Schedule: Monday - Friday 4pm-9pm Location: Charlotte, NC 28215 Benefits: Teladoc Health Partnership Discounts with Local Businesses.
