Job Description:
HCA Healthcare seeks a dedicated and compassionate part-time
Registered Nurse for our Cardiovascular Progressive Care (CVPC)
unit. This role demands a commitment to providing the highest level
of care and improving patient outcomes in a collaborative team
environment. Our nurses receive ongoing professional development
and support in a state-of-the-art facility, reflecting our
commitment to our staff’s growth and well-being. Monitor cardiac
and other critical vital signs and detect any changes, thereby
enabling intervention of life-threatening or emergency situations.
Coordinate with healthcare team to assess, plan, implement, and
evaluate patient care plans. Administer prescribed medications,
observe and record patient behavior and responses. Provide direct
and individualized nursing care to patients based on the
application of scientific nursing principles. Guide and support
patients and their families on disease prevention and healthy
lifestyle habits. Strong clinical skills in a cardiovascular care
setting Proficient in using electronic health record (EHR) systems
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work
well in a team and make critical decisions under pressure Medical
Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Life Insurance 401k
Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of practice Basic
Life Support (BLS) certification Advanced Cardiovascular Life
Support (ACLS) certification preferred
